Robert Minnig

On November 26, 1978, the Rev. Robert Minnig was received into the Presbytery of the South and installed as pastor of Galloway Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Miami, Florida.

Fourteen years earlier in 1964 he married Carole Geibel whom he met at the Berean Bible School in Allentown, PA. In the next seven years, Bob graduated from Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, GA, with a B.A., from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia with a M.Div. and from Princeton Theological Seminary with a M.A.

He was then ordained in the Bible Fellowship Church and served as a pastor in Staten Island NY, Freehold NJ, Stroudsburg PA and Philadelphia. He also taught New Testament Greek at Pinebrook Jr. College in Stroudsburg before transferring into the OPC and accepting the call to Galloway OPC.

After four years of pastoral service at Galloway Church, Bob served as stated supply for Covenant OPC in Vineland, New Jersey. In 1985 he became pastor of Pilgrim OPC in Philadelphia, where he would minister until 1996. After two years of stated supply for Living Word OPC in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, Bob retired in 2001. In the two decades that followed Bob stayed active helping at First OPC in Perkasie, PA.

On May 12, 2020, Bob Minnig died and went to be with the Lord in Glory.
