Everett C. DeVelde, Jr.

On October 19, 2013, the Rev. Everett C. DeVelde, Jr., teacher at Nashua OPC in Pulaski, Pennsylvania, stepped down as the stated clerk of the Presbytery of Ohio after twenty years of service. The son of OPC founding members the Rev. and Mrs. Everett DeVelde, Mr. DeVelde served as the chairman of the Computer Systems at Grove City College, Grove City, Pennsylvania until his retirement in 2000. He also pastored Trinity OPC in Franklin, Pennsylvania.

In honoring Mr. DeVelde for his service as clerk, the Presbytery declared that Mr. DeVelde had labored with godly commitment to the work of Christ's church. It also praised Mr. DeVelde for his expertise in updating the Presbytery's record keeping and creating the presbytery's website.
