The Boardwalk Chapel Dedicates New Buildings

Rev. Ross W. Graham

Since 1944 the Boardwalk Chapel in Wildwood has been reaching out with the gospel to the hundreds of thousands of tourists who visit the New Jersey shore each summer. With a ministry staff of 30-40 college and seminary students, the gospel is presented through preaching, concerts, and personal conversation every summer evening right on the Wildwood boardwalk just a block from the city’s Convention Center.

Since its beginning, the Chapel’s ministry and properties have been sponsored and cared for by the Presbytery of New Jersey of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church. Recently God graciously provided the funds to purchase two dormitory buildings and a multi-use administration building, all located on Hand Avenue, just four blocks from the Chapel building on the Wildwood boardwalk.

On Saturday, October 1, 2022, the Boardwalk Chapel Committee will be joined by members of the Presbytery of New Jersey, special invited guests, and the public, for a Service of Dedication to God of these three recently acquired buildings, followed by a reception and meal. The service of dedication will begin at 12:15 p.m. at the Hand properties in Wildwood.

If you would like more information about the Service of Dedication, or to be included in the guest list for the reception and meal to follow, contact Anastasia Ferguson by September 24 at boardwalkchapel@gmail.com.
