FEATURE

The 2026 short-term missions season has wrapped up, with more than 260 volunteers serving across eight fields. Again and again, we hear from volunteers that while they went to serve others, the Lord was also at work in their own lives. Stepping outside their comfort zones to share the gospel and serve gave them opportunities to grow in their faith, depend more deeply on the Lord, and return home with a renewed desire to serve Him.

And now, we’re already looking ahead to 2027! Opportunities for next summer are beginning to be explored. Read some of this summer’s testimonials below, get inspired, and start thinking and praying about whether the Lord might be calling you to join a short-term missions team next year.

Czech Republic

Team Praha

· Roman Davies (Branch of Hope OPC, Torrance, CA) "As I interacted with Czech adults, God showed me how desperately the lost need salvation, as well as the many ways the power of the Holy Spirit can bring people to life. I will continue to pray for the missionaries who are fighting for Japan; that God would fill them with joy and bless their work; that there would be a revival in Japan; that they would turn from their sin; and that they would put their hope in Christ. The Boardwalk Chapel, Wildwood, NJ

· Emily Batten (Living Hope OPC, Allentown, PA) "This summer, I was blessed to serve at the Boardwalk Chapel in Wildwood, NJ, for eight weeks. God taught me the importance of seeking God's kingdom and glory alongside other like-minded believers.
