DISASTER RESPONSE

Residents in central Vermont continue to need help with repairs four months after the flash flooding in early July, 2023. As winter approaches, more than 100 homes remain unprepared for the cold that is coming. Craig Comstock, deacon at Covenant OPC, Barre, VT, desires to coordinate volunteers (perhaps even some that were unable to help back in August). Right now, their greatest need is for volunteers who specialize in heating, ventilation, general carpentry and electrical work.

Food and lodging will be provided. Interested volunteers should contact deacon Craig Comstock (vermontvolunteers@opc.org).

Individuals or teams are needed especially for the weeks of 12/3 and 12/10.
