May 5 Today in OPC History

On May 5, 2006, Mid Cities Presbyterian Church of Bedford, Texas, was organized as a new and separate congregation in the Presbytery of the Southwest, at its Spring Stated Meeting. The session consisted of James Aust, Dennis Brown, and Todd Wylie, and Brian LeMasters and Terry Reininger were deacons. The congregation had on its charter membership roll 48 members. Mid Cities called Joseph Troutman to be their first pastor in April, 2008. Mr. Troutman continues to serve faithfully as pastor of the Mid Cities congregation.
