January 27 Today in OPC History

On this date in 2011, the Special Committee working on the psalms for a proposed psalter hymnal was meeting at the Independent Presbyterian Church in Savannah, Georgia. Participants included the host pastor, Terry Johnson, Hebraist Bryan Estelle, Larry Wilson, Peter Wallace, Alan Strange, Stephen and Norma Pribble, Timothy and Lou Ann Shafer, and Danny Olinger. The special focus of the meeting was to approve the texts and tunes for Psalm 98 through Psalm 119.
