February 16 Today in OPC History

On February 16, 2007, Mr. Phillip Hodson was ordained and installed as organizing pastor of Christ the King OPC in Longview, Texas. While attending Dallas Baptist University in Dallas, Texas, Mr. Hodson married his wife Amy. Mr. Hodson then attended and graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, PA. In addition to serving as pastor of Christ the King Church since 2007, Mr. Hodson has been active in the Presbytery of the Southwest. He has served as the chairman of the presbytery's Committee on Home Missions and regularly participates in the family camp as evidenced by the accompanying picture.
