1985 Training Seminars

2022

On October 3, 1985, OPC ministers John Frame and Roger Wagner, members of the Candidates and Credential's Committee of the Presbytery of Southern California, led a seminar on the Escondido campus of Westminster Seminary on the topic of "Care, Licensure and Ordination in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church."

Two weeks later on the same campus, OPC Intern Director Dominic Aquila held an informative luncheon for prospective summer and yearlong interns. Mr. Aquila answered questions from the prospective interns and shared with them the testimony of previous Orthodox Presbyterian interns.

In 1987, Mr. Aquila transferred to the Presbyterian Church in America having accepted a call to Forestgate PCA in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In 1990, Mr. Frame also transferred to the Presbyterian Church in America. Thirty-two years later, Mr. Wagner continues to serve as pastor of Bayview OPC in Chula Vista, California.
